Most Samsung Galaxy S and Z series phones released since 2020 support eSIM, though availability can depend on which carrier or region your device was originally sold in. Check your model's specifications or our supported devices guide if you're unsure before buying.
Installing the eSIM
- Go to Settings → Connections → SIM manager
- Tap 'Add eSIM' or 'Add mobile plan'
- Scan the QR code from your BrisqNet account, or choose to enter the details manually
- Follow the prompts to confirm and finish installation
- Rename the line if you want to tell it apart from your regular SIM at a glance
Setting up data and dual SIM
In the same SIM manager menu, you can choose which line handles mobile data, calls, and texts. For most travellers, the simplest setup is to set your BrisqNet eSIM as the active data line and keep your regular SIM for calls and texts, if your device and plan support that combination.
Can I install my BrisqNet eSIM before my trip?
Yes — install it at home over Wi-Fi, then switch on the data line once you land at your destination.
My Samsung phone doesn't show an 'Add eSIM' option — what should I do?
This usually means either your specific model or your carrier variant doesn't support eSIM, or the option is disabled for a carrier-locked device. Check your device's specification page or our supported devices guide.
