Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy explains what you can and can't do when using BrisqNet's website, app, and eSIM services (the "Services"), so that BrisqNet remains fair, safe, and reliable for everyone. It's incorporated into our Terms & Conditions.
Who This Applies To
This policy applies to anyone using the Services, including account holders, guests completing a purchase, and recipients of Gift Data.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- use the Services for any unlawful purpose, or to facilitate unlawful activity
- transmit content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that violates the rights of others
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to BrisqNet's systems, other users' accounts, or partner network operator systems
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services, including through malware, denial-of-service activity, or excessive automated requests
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of BrisqNet software, except where applicable law gives you the right to do so
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or impersonate BrisqNet, our staff, or another user
Network & Service Abuse
BrisqNet plans are intended for personal or business travel connectivity. You agree not to:
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute BrisqNet data plans or eSIM access to third parties without our written agreement
- use a plan in a way that's inconsistent with reasonable personal or business travel use, such as operating a commercial hotspot business on a single consumer plan
- attempt to circumvent fair usage measures, network selection logic, or plan validity limits described in the eSIM Service Terms
We may apply fair usage measures — including deprioritisation of unusually high usage relative to typical customers on the same plan type — as described in the eSIM Service Terms, before considering any action under this policy.
Account & Purchase Abuse
You agree not to:
- create multiple accounts to exploit promotions, referral rewards, or BrisqMiles
- use stolen, unauthorised, or fraudulently obtained payment methods
- dispute a legitimately delivered and used order through a chargeback instead of contacting BrisqNet support first, where doing so is done in bad faith
- submit false information during account creation, checkout, identity verification, or support requests
BrisqMiles & Gift Data Abuse
You agree not to:
- manipulate, exploit, or attempt to artificially generate BrisqMiles beyond their intended use, as set out in the BrisqMiles Terms
- send Gift Data to fictitious recipients, or use Gift Data as a means of laundering fraudulent purchases, as set out in the Gift Data Terms
Security Research
If you believe you've found a security vulnerability in BrisqNet's systems, we'd rather hear about it from you first. Please report it responsibly to support@brisqnet.comrather than exploiting it, testing it against real customer accounts, or disclosing it publicly before we've had a reasonable opportunity to address it.
Consequences of Violation
Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, we may:
- warn you and request that the conduct stop
- suspend or limit access to the Services, including specific features like BrisqMiles or Gift Data
- withhold or reverse BrisqMiles, Gift Data, or promotional benefits obtained through the violation
- terminate your account
- refuse to process a refund where the violation relates to fraud or abuse
- report unlawful conduct to relevant authorities
Wherever practical, we'll aim to give you an opportunity to explain before taking permanent action, except where we reasonably believe immediate action is needed to prevent harm or fraud.
Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of a violation of this policy — including suspected fraud, network abuse, or misuse of your account — please report it to abuse@brisqnet.com or +234 815 024 5529.
