Getting started

An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM built into your device. Instead of inserting a physical SIM card, you download a BrisqNet mobile plan as a profile. After purchase, you receive installation details by email and in My eSIMs in the BrisqNet app.

BrisqNet provisions a data plan on partner networks in your destination. You install the eSIM profile once, then activate or top up plans when you travel. Your device connects to local networks automatically when you arrive.

No. Once your BrisqNet eSIM is installed, you can keep it on your phone and add new data bundles for future trips, subject to device compatibility and plan availability.

You can, but keeping your BrisqNet eSIM installed makes your next trip easier. Just add data when you need it. If you remove the profile, you may need a replacement installation from BrisqNet Support before you can use the service again.

Yes. Most eSIM devices support dual SIM, so you can keep your home SIM for calls and texts while using your BrisqNet eSIM for travel data. Choose which line handles mobile data in your device settings.

After checkout, open the BrisqNet app and go to My eSIMs, or check your confirmation email for the QR code and installation details. Sign in with the same account you used to purchase.

Device compatibility

Yes. Your phone or tablet must be carrier-unlocked to install a BrisqNet eSIM. Devices locked to a single network may reject third-party eSIM profiles.

Look for Add eSIM, Add mobile plan, or Add data plan in your device settings. You can also browse our supported devices list. eSIM support varies by model, region, and carrier variant.

No. The same model sold in different countries may or may not include eSIM hardware or software. Check your exact variant against our supported devices page and your manufacturer documentation.

Installation

Install before you travel while you still have a stable internet connection — Wi‑Fi is ideal. You do not need to activate data until you arrive, but having the profile installed saves time at your destination.

On iPhone: Settings → Cellular / Mobile Service → Add eSIM → Use QR Code. On Android: open SIM or eSIM settings (wording varies) → Add eSIM → Scan QR code. Hold the code steady in good lighting.

No. Each QR code is typically single-use. If installation fails or you delete the profile, contact BrisqNet Support — we can help with reissue where your plan allows it.

Deleting the profile removes it from your device. You may need a replacement QR code or manual activation details from BrisqNet Support. Do not delete the profile unless you intend to remove it.

BrisqNet supports one-tap installation in the mobile app (where available), QR code installation, and manual entry using SM-DP+ address and activation codes supplied after purchase.

Activation

Your BrisqNet plan validity usually begins when you first use mobile data on the BrisqNet line — not necessarily at purchase. Check your plan details at checkout for the exact start rule.

On iPhone: Settings → Cellular → BrisqNet line → turn on Data Roaming. On Android: Settings → SIM / Mobile network → select BrisqNet eSIM → enable Data roaming. Required on many devices for travel data.

Set BrisqNet as your mobile data or default data SIM in settings. Keep your home SIM for calls if desired, but ensure travel data routes through the BrisqNet line.

If QR scanning is unavailable, enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code from your order email or My eSIMs. Some orders also include a confirmation code. Never share these details publicly.

Coverage

Coverage depends on the plan you buy — country, regional, or global. Each product page lists included destinations and partner networks. Coverage maps show intended service areas, not a guarantee in every location.

BrisqNet automatically selects partner networks where possible. If you have no data, try toggling airplane mode, enabling roaming, or manually selecting an available partner network in device settings.

Data

Many BrisqNet plans include hotspot sharing. Check your plan details before purchase. If tethering is included, enable Personal Hotspot or USB/Wi‑Fi tethering on the BrisqNet data line.

Most BrisqNet plans are data-only unless stated otherwise. Use data-based apps such as WhatsApp, iMessage, or FaceTime Audio over your BrisqNet data connection.

Data stops when your allowance is used or validity ends. You can purchase a top-up or new plan in the BrisqNet app if available for your destination.

Unlimited plans let you stay connected for the full validity period without choosing a fixed data pack. Like most mobile services, Unlimited plans are subject to network management and fair usage measures. See our Terms and Conditions for details.

Troubleshooting

Check that BrisqNet is selected for mobile data, data roaming is enabled, and your plan is active with remaining data. Toggle airplane mode for 30 seconds, then retry.

Ensure the BrisqNet profile is installed and turned on, roaming is enabled, and you are in a covered area. Restart your device and confirm the plan has not expired.

Use a stable connection, scan in good lighting, and confirm the code has not already been used. Try manual installation with SM-DP+ details, or contact support if the code fails repeatedly.

BrisqNet profiles usually configure APN automatically. If data fails after correct SIM selection, check for manual APN overrides in settings and reset network settings only as a last step.

Speed depends on local network load, your device, and plan type. Move to an area with stronger signal, confirm you are on the BrisqNet data line, and restart your device if speeds stay poor.

Orders & payments

If you have not used data, you may qualify for a refund within the period stated at checkout and in our refund policy. Used plans are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we confirm a technical fault.

BrisqNet accepts major cards and supported local payment methods shown at checkout. All prices and currency are displayed before you pay.

A confirmation email is sent after purchase. You can also view orders in the BrisqNet app when signed in.

Account

My eSIMs in the BrisqNet app lists your purchased profiles, installation details, usage, and top-up options. Sign in with the email used at checkout.

An account is required to manage purchases, access My eSIMs, BrisqMiles, and Gift eSIMs. You can browse plans without signing in.

BrisqMiles

BrisqMiles is the BrisqNet rewards programme. You earn miles as you travel with BrisqNet and use them towards future data purchases. 100 BrisqMiles = £1 equivalent travel credit.

You get 50 BrisqMiles when you join, and 50 more for a successful referral. You also earn BrisqMiles every time you purchase data with BrisqNet. Check the BrisqMiles section in the app for current balances and activity.

For purchases in GBP, USD, EUR, AUD and CAD, you earn 1 BrisqMile for every whole currency unit you pay. For other supported currencies, we calculate your Miles using the USD-equivalent value of your purchase. BrisqMiles are earned on the amount you actually pay, after any Offer, promo code, or BrisqMiles redemption.

Redeem from 100 BrisqMiles. You can use BrisqMiles for up to 25% of an eligible purchase, and they can be used alongside eligible promotional discounts.

Gifts

You can purchase a plan as a gift from the BrisqNet app. The recipient receives installation details by email. They install the eSIM on a compatible, unlocked device.

The recipient follows the installation instructions in the gift email or signs in to accept the gift in the BrisqNet app, depending on how the gift was sent.

Security & privacy

We process account and order data to deliver eSIM services. Read our Privacy Policy for details on collection, retention, and your rights.

Treat QR codes and SM-DP+ details like passwords. Install only from BrisqNet emails or My eSIMs. Never post activation credentials online.

  2. 2.Confirm BrisqNet is the active data line.
  3. 3.Restart the device to refresh the radio connection.

Restart / airplane mode

Quick reset that fixes many registration issues.

  1. 1.Enable airplane mode for 30 seconds.
  2. 2.Disable airplane mode and wait for network registration.
  3. 3.If unresolved, power off completely, wait 10 seconds, power on.
