What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They help a website remember information about your visit, keep you logged in, and understand how the site is used.

How BrisqNet Uses Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies on the BrisqNet website and app for three broad purposes: making the Services work, understanding how they're used, and (where you've consented) marketing measurement. We don't use cookies to build advertising profiles for third parties, and we don't sell cookie data.

Cookie Categories

• Essential— keep you signed in, secure checkout, remember your basket and currency choice, and protect against fraud. The Services can't function properly without these. No consent required — always active.
• Analytics — understand how the website and apps are used so we can improve the service. On the public website this includes Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity after you allow Analytics. PostHog may be used for product analytics where configured. Consent required — off until you allow it.
• Preferences — remember display choices, such as currency or market selection, across visits. Consent required unless strictly functional.
• Marketing— measure the effectiveness of BrisqNet's own marketing campaigns. Only enabled where configured and where you've consented.

Product Analytics

We use optional analytics technologies to understand how the website and apps are used and to improve the service — for example, which pages or screens are viewed, which features are used, and where people run into errors. This may involve a cookie or local storage identifier that lets an analytics provider recognise repeat visits from the same browser or device, without directly identifying you by name unless you're signed in.

Optional analytics are consent-gated. On the public website they load only after you allow Analytics in the cookie banner or Cookie settings. On the customer apps (app.brisqnet.com, iOS, and Android), analytics stay off by default until you explicitly choose Allow analytics. Withdrawing analytics consent stops further optional analytics cookies, events, and session recording.

Analytics consent is separate from push notification permissions and from marketing email or other communication preferences. Necessary operational processing continues if you reject analytics, including authentication, checkout, payments, eSIM fulfilment, and error reporting needed to keep the Services working.

Sensitive information is excluded or masked from optional analytics where applicable, including passwords, payment and card data, payment tokens, authentication tokens, eSIM activation details, QR content, ICCID/IMSI/EID/MSISDN, and SM-DP+ / activation codes.

Other Tools We Use

• Website performance metrics — aggregate, privacy-conscious website performance and traffic metrics.
• Google Analytics 4 — consented website analytics on www.brisqnet.com. We use it to understand page views and product journeys. Advertising storage and Google ad personalisation stay disabled unless BrisqNet later introduces a separate advertising consent mechanism.
• Microsoft Clarity — behavioural analytics on the public website and customer apps. Clarity may provide interaction and session analysis such as heatmaps and session recordings. We do not use Clarity for advertising. Recordings are configured to mask sensitive customer information.
• PostHog — may be used for product analytics where configured.
• Error monitoring tools — help us detect and fix technical problems; they may capture technical session details at the moment an error occurs and do not depend on analytics consent.

These tools are configured to support the Services rather than to track you across other websites.

Managing Your Choices

You can withdraw analytics consent at any time:

• on the public website through Cookie settings, also available from the cookie banner and the website footer
• in the customer app through Account → Privacy

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect essential functionality like staying signed in or completing checkout.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There's no common industry standard for how websites should respond to it, so BrisqNet currently responds to your cookie consent choices made directly with us, rather than to browser DNT signals.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies and similar technologies changes. We'll post updates here with a new "Last updated" date.
